Flexion of Soles Flexometer to determine the resistance to flexing of soles. Historically one of the faults that occur in the shoes in use is that of the split sole. The sole is placed on the flexometer equipment, and is held between two clamps. The lower clamp is fixed and the upper one moves forward and backward at an angle of 22 '5 degrees, undergoing a test of 30,000 push-ups. An accountant counts the number of push-ups performed. Initially an incision of 2 mm is made in the sole and after the 30000 cycles it is measured if the incision grew more than indicated by the Norm (UNE-EN ISO 20344, UNE-EN ISO 17707, DIN 53-543 and UNE 59 -570-94). |
